We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This is an important role within our restaurant, you’ll be responsible for preparing and executing menu items consistently, efficiently, and with attention to quality during service. We’re looking for someone who stays organized under pressure, works well with a team, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and possess a passion for creating delicious dishes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items during service
- Supported by a kitchen helper who assists with prep, plating, and basic cooking tasks during service
- Maintain consistent food quality, portioning, and presentation
- Manage the flow of orders during busy periods
- Communicate clearly with staff to ensure accuracy and timing
- Help prep ingredients and maintain kitchen readiness
- Keep workstation clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
- Ensure correct orders are completed and handed off accurately
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of basic food safety principles
- Comfortable running a kitchen without constant supervision
