We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Hair Colourist to join our dynamic salon team. The Junior Hair Colourist will assist senior stylists, learn color techniques, and contribute to creating beautiful, personalized looks for our clients. Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists with hair coloring and styling services to ensure client satisfaction
- Prepare clients for their appointments by consulting on color options and desired results
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the salon environment
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients professionally and courteously
- Upsell retail products related to hair care and styling to enhance client experience
- Support front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client check-in/out processes
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer personalized recommendations
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews
Requirements
- Passion for hair styling, coloring, and the beauty industry with a desire to learn and grow professionally
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients in a friendly manner
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques and sanitation practices preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to assist with retail sales and promote products confidently
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Prior experience in front desk or reception roles is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to take on front desk responsibilities is essential
Pay: $17.60-$29.22 per hour
