Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service/Bakery Assistant to join our team. The ideal hire would be skilled in customer service, be reliable, feel comfortable with basic food handling/prep, and enjoy being one of the faces of an integral business in the local food community.
Preference will be given to candidates with a drivers license and who would also be available to work the Farmer's Market on Saturdays.
Experience/Skills
- Previous experience in a food-based customer service role is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and other work mates.
- Organizational skills to ensure ordering and communication systems are followed appropriately
- Foodsafe Level 1 or the basic understanding of food safety regulations and best practices or the willingness to get your Foodsafe Level 1 soon after starting employment.
- The desire to learn our products and methods to be able to communicate them properly to our customers
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
