Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Office Building Commercial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our commercial facilities located in Elora, ON. This role is essential in providing a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of office areas, restrooms, and common spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in restrooms and kitchen areas
- Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly throughout the facility
- Conduct minor facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting larger repair needs to management
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment during cleaning operations
- Maintain a schedule of cleaning duties to ensure all areas are serviced regularly and efficiently
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in office building environments
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning consistently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation is a plus for scheduled shifts within the building premises
- Prior experience in maintenance tasks is advantageous but not required
