Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
- Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Help with dishwashing and waste disposal to uphold sanitation standards
- Serve food to customers or staff as directed, ensuring proper presentation and portioning
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen organized and efficient
- Follow all safety protocols related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cooking, and food handling is advantageous
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment within the food industry or restaurant setting is a plus
- Knowledge of basic kitchen safety practices and food safety regulations is desirable
- No formal experience necessary; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
