CNRL –Heavy Equipment Technicians - Fly-In / Fly-Out

We are looking for someone who is a problem solver and a fast thinker and able to work independently. This is a full-time and permanent position. This position is safety sensitive.
The rotation for this position is 7 days on / 7 days off
Camp accommodations and flights provided at no cost. (Flight Hubs Calgary or Edmonton)
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician
- 2 – 5 years related experience desired
- Valid Driver’s License Class 5 / 3Q (would be considered an asset)
- Analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and understand parts and service manuals in English
- Proficient with computer equipment
- Health & Safety Knowledge – OH&S rules and regulations guidelines
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing a fleet of 500
- Ability to analyze and repair mechanical failures
- Determine proper course of action to facilitate vehicle repair, maintenance, adjustment and component replacement
- Perform preventative maintenance, running repairs and breakdown repairs to various equipment such as hydrovacs, loaders, skid steers, tractors, dozers, AWP’s, light/power plants, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and other work
- Provides guidance, training and coaching to apprentices or shop hands when necessary
- Follow and comply with all health, safety, environmental, and HR procedures
- Attend company training programs as required
- HET positions require to be clean shaven
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and shop environment
Compensation Details
· Competitive wages $55.00 – $ 65.00
