Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Receptionist/Sales Associate to join our team. This role combines front-desk customer service with active sales responsibilities, requiring excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a passion for engaging with clients. The ideal candidate must have experience in retail sales, possess strong organizational abilities, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with renovation projects are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop your sales expertise while providing exceptional service to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries both in person and via phone or email
- Manage the front desk, including answering calls, scheduling appointments, and handling customer pick-ups
- Utilize Quickbooks for transactions, cash handling and credit card processing
- Assist customers with product selection, providing detailed information on merchandise
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the retail space is welcoming and professional
- Handle basic math calculations accurately during transactions and account management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, inside sales, or customer service roles; experience in high-end sales or renovation projects is advantageous
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with Quickbooks, cash handling, and basic math calculations
- Knowledge of construction/renovation industry experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and account management
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and build lasting relationships
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
