The Position
Resound School of Music is hiring passionate and reliable Piano Teachers to teach in-home private lessons throughout Calgary. We are currently seeking teachers who live in Calgary's Southwest and Southeast communities, where demand for lessons is growing rapidly.

- Part-time or full-time hours available
- Lessons typically take place weekday afternoons and evenings (after 3:00 PM)
- We are especially looking for teachers located in or near Signal Hill, Aspen Woods, West Springs, Springbank Hill, Altadore, Marda Loop, Lake Bonavista, Mahogany, Auburn Bay, Cranston, Seton, Silverado, Legacy, and surrounding communities.

Job Responsibilities
As a Piano Teacher, you will:
- Travel by vehicle to students' homes throughout SW and SE Calgary
- Teach private piano lessons (30–60 minutes)
- Develop personalized lesson plans based on each student's goals and interests
- Help students develop strong musical skills while fostering a lifelong love of music
- Encourage consistent progress through positive, engaging instruction
Qualifications
We are looking for applicants who have:
- Strong piano skills and solid foundational music knowledge
- Experience teaching piano to students of different ages and levels
- A friendly, patient, and enthusiastic teaching style
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for travel between lessons
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their goals
Compensation
Our starting rate is $45.00–$55.00 per teaching hour. While travel time is not included, we plan routes and schedules strategically to minimize driving so you can maximize your time spent teaching.
