Infant and Toddler Educator (BC Licensed)
Tiny Hoppers Queensborough opened its door in April 2021 and we are looking for experience and passionate educators with a valid BC license to join our infant (1-2 years old) classroom.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement educational experiences that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
- Knowledge of licensing regulations
- Knowledge of emergent curriculum
- Good understanding on children development
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members
- Following policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of the children and staff.
Requirements:
- Must have valid BC Infant & Toddler Educator License
- Must have valid first aid certificate
- Must have a valid Criminal Record Check
- Have a strong understanding of child development and behavior
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Have strong problem-solving skills and strong ability to multi-task
