Job Description: Host/Guest Services Attendant
As an employee of The Breeze, you'll act as an Experience Guide, ensuring every guest receives dedicated and attentive service. You'll assist guests with a range of needs, including hotel check-in, restaurant seating, reservations, and payment processing. You'll also be the go-to person for all questions about our location, services, and food and beverage offerings.
The Host/Guest Service Attendant role is crucial for creating positive first and lasting impressions. By building personal connections and responding quickly to special requests, you'll enhance guest satisfaction and build loyalty. You'll also collect valuable feedback to help us improve and uphold all safety protocols to ensure a secure and welcoming environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Knowledgeable about The Breeze including all products, menus and promotions - be able to relate all information in appealing and informative manner to all guests

Providing the highest quality of service at all times in all guest interactions

Correct use of Room Reservation, Table Reservation and POS systems, adhering to all company standards and policies

Assist with the management of guest reservations, handling booking confirmations, and event details

Relaying all reservation information, including VIP’s, special requests, or private parties to Manager, Chef, and service teams as needed

Clearing, setting, polishing, and cleaning tables, glassware and utensils

Preparation and cleanliness of the dining room area and equipment before, after and during each service

Maintain lobby areas to remain clean and welcoming, reflecting the hotel's standard for style and ambiance

Communicate effectively between alternate shifts (am and pm); ensure guest needs, room maintenance and other relevant information is passed along

Processing check in and check out according to The Breeze procedures

Answering phone calls in a friendly and professional manner and answer all guest questions and concerns

Creating room reservations and handling special requests

Verifying billing, processing payments, and presenting room charges statements

Handling guest concerns with and without the support of the management team

Support standards of cleanliness, uniform, grooming, organization, and consistency through completion of operational checklists

Complete daily checklists, assigned tasks and weekly cleaning duties
- Assist restaurant staff during service periods; providing support at the host stand, running food and beverage or clearing tables

Ensure food is presented with exceptional level of detail prior to delivering to guests

Perform other duties as assigned
