Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position must be reliable with a strong work ethic. As the General Laborer you will be responsible for performing custodian work involving daily cleaning of buildings, and seasonal grounds work involving mowing and weed eating, etc.
You will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the daily operations of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, shift punctuality and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on the job site. Duties
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Grounds maintenance.
- Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Follow instructions from manager and collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
You will also possess the following.
- Reliability
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Capacity to take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 23 kg/50 pounds as necessary
Qualifications
- Previous experience in farm, construction or labor-preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- A valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
