Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills. The AZ Truck Driver will also be involved in handling freight, operating heavy equipment when necessary, and maintaining the vehicle to ensure optimal performance. Driver must have a very flexible schedule for long and over night trips.
Duties
- Safely operate AZ-certified commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs, including automotive repairs when necessary
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities
- Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management when required
Skills
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
- Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus
- Ability to perform automotive repairs or basic vehicle troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, operate heavy machinery, and perform manual tasks as needed
Pay: From $1,200.00 per week
