Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Update and maintain electronic medical records
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
- Assist with billing and coding tasks
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers
- Manage patient paperwork and ensure accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in or completed an undergraduate program.
- Previous experience in an administrative or office role preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology is a plus
