Tire Technician Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tires on various vehicles. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and assess tires for wear and damage, providing recommendations for replacement or repair.
- Mount, dismount and balance tires on vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Perform tire repairs, including patching and plugging as necessary.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding tyre maintenance.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate tire-related machinery safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $16.80-$18.60 per hour
