Del's Exteriors is looking for a Field Operations & Small Works Manager to help coordinate our commercial, service, small works, and private exterior construction work.
This is a hands-on operations role for someone with construction or trades experience who is comfortable working between the field, office, customers, general contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal team members. The right person understands how jobs move in the real world and can help keep schedules, materials, communication, and follow-up organized.
This role is not just an office administration position. Field visits, customer communication, construction knowledge, and practical coordination experience are important. The role may also include managing suitable small exterior service and repair work where the scope is clear, profitable, and fits the company's schedule.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate commercial, service, small works, and private exterior work.
· Screen and manage suitable small service or repair jobs from intake through completion.
· Support job handoff from estimating into production.
· Schedule and attend site visits as required.
· Communicate with homeowners, commercial customers, general contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, and field staff.
· Follow up on materials, purchase orders, deliveries, site access, equipment needs, and missing information.
· Help coordinate crews, site requirements, and production timelines.
· Provide routine updates to customers, GCs, vendors, and internal team members.
· Track open action items and make sure they are followed through to completion.
· Maintain internal job tracking systems.
· Prepare coordination updates for daily or weekly meetings.
· Help identify delays, missing information, or unresolved issues before they affect production.
· Support close-out and follow-up on completed work.
Qualifications
· Construction, trades, renovation, service, or exterior building experience preferred.
· Commercial construction coordination experience is an asset.
· Comfortable visiting job sites and dealing directly with customers.
· Able to communicate professionally with homeowners, GCs, vendors, crews, and office staff.
· Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills.
· Organized, reliable, and consistent with follow-up.
· Able to manage multiple jobs and open items at once.
· Comfortable using email, shared files, task boards, and basic office software.
· Valid driver's license and vehicle required.
Employment Type And Compensation
Full-time seasonal position, with opportunity for year-round permanent employment for the right person based on fit, workload, and company needs.
Salary range: $70,000-$90,000 annualized, depending on experience and employment arrangement.
Potential bonus structure can be put in place for the right candidate.
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
