Job Summary
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Contract Sales specialist located in Williams Lake, BC. The specialist will provide exceptional customer service while managing large-scale sales projects, from initial planning to final execution. Responsibilities include guiding customers through the sales process, preparing project proposals, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials (to the store and to the customer’s address, if applicable), and building strong customer relationships to achieve and foster repeat business.
Duties
- Proficiency in Contract Sales and Sales techniques to identify customer needs and close projects effectively.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with a focus on building positive and professional relationships.
- Regular sales counter duties.
- Ability to accurately quote orders of building materials, kitchens, windows, doors, etc.
- Ability to read plans.
- Ability to run the store’s shed program.
- Ability to organize truck deliveries to local and out of town customers.
- Experience in ordering and receiving materials.
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, organization, and management of timelines and resources.
- Additional assets include ability to read blueprints (optional), product knowledge in home improvement, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
Pay: $55,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
