Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Spa Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional client service, support daily spa operations, and create a welcoming, relaxing, and organized environment for every guest.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Assist clients with selecting treatments, packages, and products based on their needs
- Explain spa services, promotions, and product benefits to enhance the client experience
- Conduct product demonstrations and support retail sales
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and follow proper cash handling procedures
- Recommend and upsell additional services and products to increase client satisfaction
- Schedule and manage appointments efficiently while maintaining smooth daily operations
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries with professionalism and proper phone etiquette
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception, retail areas, treatment rooms, and common spaces
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including tidying treatment rooms, laundry tasks, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and welcoming spa environment
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing products attractively and keeping retail displays well maintained
- Assist with client check-in and check-out procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless client experience from arrival to departure
- Be a supportive team player by communicating effectively and assisting colleagues when needed
- Multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Perform tasks independently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Work effectively under pressure while managing changing priorities
- Use creative problem-solving skills to handle client concerns and operational challenges
- Take initiative to identify opportunities for improving client experience and spa operations
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or spa environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work independently
- Strong team player with a positive and collaborative attitude
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling transactions
- Ability to remain professional and calm in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations
- Passion for wellness, beauty, and providing exceptional client experiences
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
- Sales, retail, or product knowledge experience is an asset
