Job Description
Security Guard Group is currently seeking reliable and professional Full-Time Contract Security Guards for assignments in Calgary, AB. This position includes the use of a personal vehicle as a shelter while on duty. Applicants must be able to provide a proof of vehicle ownership upon request.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct access control duties by monitoring entryway and exit of traffic
Safely manage incoming and outgoing traffic from a truck yard
Maintain a visible presence to deter unlawful activity
Monitor property and report incidents accurately
Remain alert and attentive while standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
Communicate clearly and professionally in English
Prepare detailed written reports and incident documentation
Use security-related technology and reporting tools effectively
Basic Requirements
Valid Alberta Security Guard License
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Smartphone with internet access
Ability to work independently during night shifts
