Inside Sales Manager

Due to sustained growth we are currently looking for a Inside Sales Managerto join our team at our Newmarket facility.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a sales network of food and beverage clients across Canada and the USA. Identify target markets, key accounts, and prospective clients lists for Descon’s sales teams.
- Maintain and grow customer contact databases using Outlook, Excel, or CRM tools.
- Document current and future project leads. Work with Descon sales teams on developing a structured follow-up process.
- Support outside sales with scheduling, customer communication, and tracking follow-ups on quotes and opportunities to help bring sales leads forward.
- For routine needs interpret customer requirements, or guide customers to Descon SME’s and coordinate with engineering on specifications.
- Prepare and review weekly/monthly prospect and lead updates with the sales team
- Maintain CRM systems, sales pipelines, and accurate customer records.
- Keep CRM updated with opportunities, activities, and customer data to support pipeline visibility, forecasting, and team alignment.
- Keep project budgets on Descon’s internal Tracker Software updated.
- Development of change orders for current projects when required.
- Critical Project Tracking liasing with internal stakeholders to ensure profitability of current projects(WIP Reviews).
- Support the sales team with preparing proposals, presentations, and technical documentation requests as required.
Requirements
- 5 years industrial inside sales or sales support experience .
- Strong understanding of automated equipment or conveyor systems would be an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings would be an asset
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong working knowledge with CRM systems, database programs and Excel.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
