Saw Operator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to follow AB Granito’s core values
- Anticipate and assist co-workers
- Program the set up for the Saw CNC
Assistance o Auto-Cad corrections when need it
- controlling production orders and coordinating what is the priority of the jobs
- operating a forklift to manipulate the materials from shipping and receiving
- taking care of the inventory of the materials.
- Maintaining the warehouse mop clean according to safety regulations
- Maintain overall awareness of job status and requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of job materials such as proper uses and
applications.
- Correctly and safely use hand and power tools and equipment.
- Notify directors of any defects or worn equipment.
- Operation of the machine: Saw CNC (fully responsible for the production of this machine).
- Responsible to keep the shop and Saw area clean and free of debris (This includes but is not limited to daily moping and dumping garbage into the trailer)
- Responsible for labelling production and remnant pieces.
EDUCATION-EXPERIENCE- SKILLS SET
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry heavy pieces of stone (countertops)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime
- Current and valid driver’s license, without major violations in the last 5 yrs.
- high level of numerical and organizational skills
- Ambition to excel and advance in trade.
- 3 years of experience in warehouse and equipment operations
- Construction trade and warehouse experience
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
Field position at job site. Must use clean white t-shirts provided by ABG and safety
booths at all times.
WORK SCHEDULE
Eight (8) to ten (10) hour workdays Monday through Friday of each week, with
some Saturdays work.
Starting time 7am.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
