Asia Standard Americas is the North American arm of a publicly traded real estate developer headquartered in Hong Kong. With a strong track record in high-end, design-driven mixed-use developments, we are expanding our presence in Vancouver and are seeking a Development Coordinator to join our growing team for current and future projects in Downtown Vancouver.
Our first North American project - Landmark on Robson has been recognized with six awards from the International Property Awards (UK), reflecting our commitment to excellence in design, quality, and execution.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gain hands-on experience across the full cycle of project and design development, and play a key role in translating architectural vision into successful built projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Development Lead in managing multiple high-end mixed-use development projects from concept through completion
- Assist in design management, ensuring architectural intent and quality are maintained throughout the development process
- Help translate architectural design concepts into executable real estate development outcomes
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project progress and alignment
- Track project schedules, deliverables, and key milestones
- Assist in preparation and submission of development applications (rezoning, DP, BP, etc.)
- Monitor project documentation, contracts, and approvals
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely responses and issue resolution
- Support budgeting, reporting, and internal documentation processes
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in real estate development, architecture, planning, or construction coordination
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and proactively follow up on outstanding items
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with consultants and senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with Vancouver development processes is an asset
- Degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- Architectural background is considered a strong asset
