Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Previous experience in food service is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. The Restaurant Server plays a vital role in delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills
- Provide knowledgeable guest services by answering questions about menu items and specials
- Ensure guest comfort by responding promptly to requests or concerns
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant industry preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
- ProServe certification.
- Ability to perform basic math for billing and cash handling purposes
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
