Manage player registrations, rosters, records and assist with general operational and administrative functions. This role is essential to keeping our program organized and running smoothly. This role will be a paid position in our association.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage player and team registrations using sports management software and Hockey Canada Registry (HCR)
- Maintain accurate records for players, teams and volunteers
- Support families with registration questions, transfers, and waivers
- Build and finalize team rosters and distribute official team lists
- Ensuring coaches and volunteers have the correct qualifications
- Ice Scheduling of practices, games, tournaments and any extra sessions throughout the season
- Coordinate tournament registrations/HCR, payments, and travel permits alongside the Tournament Coordinator
- Track payments, and Kidsport confirmations
- Monitor email account responding to inquiries about playing hockey as well as tournament communications
- Assist with website updates and online systems (Sports Management Software, Website, Media relations)
- General administrative support to the board
Pay: $22,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lumby, BC
