Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with necessary information regarding their stay.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining accurate records.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Process payments and maintain a balanced cash drawer throughout the shift.
- Conduct nightly audits of accounts to ensure accuracy in billing and financial reporting.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls, take reservations, and provide information to guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred, particularly in a hotel setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in front desk operations and familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and reports.
- A friendly demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
