Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented painters to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites, contributing to the transformation and restoration of structures.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine painting requirements.
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, or power tools.
- Perform surface repairs such as caulking, patching holes, or filling cracks prior to painting.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely for surface preparation and finishing tasks.
- Assist with related construction activities including cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry work, or electrical tasks as needed.
- Follow safety protocols on-site and maintain a clean work environment throughout the project duration.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate application of finishes.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools used in painting and surface preparation.
- Knowledge of construction processes including concrete forming, concrete finishing, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and restoration techniques.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for site preparation or finishing tasks.
- Familiarity with construction estimating and project planning is a plus.
- Skills in caulking and surface sealing to ensure durable finishes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings related to cabinetry installation or flooring projects.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
