Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Slitter Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining slitting equipment to produce precise material cuts, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Duties
- Operate and monitor slitting machines, including CNC and manual setups, to accurately cut materials according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure precise production outputs.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality control standards.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the process to identify defects or inconsistencies, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols related to welding, machining, and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks when necessary and assist in training new operators.
