We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with deep expertise in Pure Storage arrays and VMware ESX virtualization platforms. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our enterprise storage and virtualization infrastructure.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade systems, including provisioning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Administer VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter environments, ensuring optimal configuration and uptime.
- Perform capacity planning, monitoring, and reporting for storage and virtualization resources.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for virtualized environments.
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and firmware updates to maintain system health and security.
- Document configurations, processes, and best practices for operational excellence.

- 5+ years of experience in system administration with a focus on storage and virtualization.
- Hands-on experience with Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade.
- Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi, vCenter, and related tools.
- Proficiency in SAN/NAS concepts, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI protocols.
- Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000–$115,000. This role is a future opportunity.
