Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and sterile environment by ensuring that all dental instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use. This position requires familiarity with dental practices and equipment. However, we are willing to train a motivated individual.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sterilization of dental l instruments.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in the organization and inventory management of sterilized instruments and supplies.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure timely availability of instruments for procedures.
- Monitor sterilization equipment functionality and report any malfunctions or issues.
- Stay updated on best practices in sterilization techniques and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- Evenings and weekends are required.
- Previous experience is preferred but willing to train.
- Familiarity with CAD software, dental assisting, or medical terminology is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
