Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Shuttle Driver to safely transport passengers between designated locations. This role requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a good understanding of vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems. The Shuttle Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely, safe, and comfortable transportation for clients or employees, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate shuttle vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies to transport passengers safely and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and addressing inquiries courteously
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and other mechanical components
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the shuttle vehicle to ensure safety and comfort
- Communicate effectively with dispatch or management regarding schedules, delays, or any vehicle issues
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations at all times during operation
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and maintenance activities as required
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement preferred
- Proven experience in commercial driving or shuttle service is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks
- Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to operate vehicles safely under various weather conditions and traffic scenarios
- Good physical condition to assist with luggage handling and perform vehicle inspections
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and adherence to schedules
Pay: $15.00 per hour
