As an industrial rope access technician you will be working with us on many of Calgary’s top properties. You will be providing window cleaning services as well as a variety of technical access property maintenance jobs, and working with a great team of people eager to help you exceed. Plus, we are gear nerds so you get access to some of the coolest equipment out there. We have been working in Alberta for 20+ years with over 350,000 logged hours with no lost time incidents. Major Areas of Responsibility
- Cleaning high-rise windows using industrial rope access techniques
- Rope Access Maintenance and Construction
- Maintain our COR safety standards
- Completing daily electronic hazard assessments
- Working with customers and your fellow team members in a fun and professional manner
- Have fun while doing it!
Primary Objectives:
- Meet overall weekly production goals
- Exterior window cleaning of high-rise buildings
- Work with a great and extremely skilled group of people
- Taking the time to perform work safely and efficiently

Specific Responsibilities of the Job:
Rope Access Maintenance:
- Completing the cleaning of buildings
- Complete work of a verity of construction and maintenance activities which include but are not limited to
- Glazing
- Pressure Washing
- Inspections
- Façade Repair
- Snow and Ice Removal
- Maintaining a tidy work environment
- Maintianing ground level safety zones
- Providing feedback on all levels
Maintain Safety Standards:
- Beginning of day electronic hazard assessments
- Incident / deficiency reports if required
- Regular inspection of your equipment
- Tagging out of defective equipment
Representing RockyView Enterprises:
- Working with fellow team members in a professional manner
- Understand that safety is there to benefit everyone including the public
Specific Requirements
- A great attitude will take you far
- Window cleaning experience is a great asset
- Valid SPRATA / IRATA Certification is a major asset but will also train.
- The more experience you have the more you will make, as simple as that
- a person vehicle is required (we work all over the city ad sometimes out of town)
- moderate to advanced English skills ( communication on buildings over radios needs to be high quality for safety)
Job Types: Full-time
Contract length: year round work
Pay: $25-$50 per hour
Expected hours: 36-44 hours a week ( work is weather dependant especially in winter)

- What level of SPRAT or IRARTA certification do you have? At least a Level 1 of either is a major asset but can train in house with the right candidate.
