We are expanding our capabilities with new Mazak milling and turning machines, new CNC controlled knee mill, and Hass CNC lathe. We are looking for experienced, motivated, and dedicated individuals who can program, set up, and operate our CNC equipment.

Duties:
· Interpret drawings, blueprints, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces
· Determine sequence of operations, tools to be used, materials for the job and setup requirements for new Mazak milling and turning machines
· Import SolidWorks generated STP files into Mazak programming software and turn it into a working program to download into the machine controls
· Set up and install tool holders and tools needed to manufacture parts
· Operate Mazak milling and turning machines
· Operate Haas turning machine
· Perform first piece and random sample inspection and verification of dimensions of machined parts to established tolerances using precision measuring instruments
· Measure, examine and test completed parts
· Perform preventative maintenance as required
· Set up, operate and maintain a variety of manual machine tools
· Comply with Company ISO Standards, policies and safety regulations
· Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of four years of work experience in the trade and some college or industry courses in machining
· Minimum three years’ experience operating Mazak CNC milling and/or CNC turning machines in a job shop type environment
· Familiarity with machining principles, the correct tool to use for each operation of producing a part, and proper feed and speed rates
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications
· Ability to work with tight tolerances on dies and punches
· Intermediate knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments
· Intermediate knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various CNC machines
· Ability to communicate clearly in English and follow written and oral instructions
· Ability to fabricate new parts to replace defective parts during machine setup, maintenance, or overhaul.
