Bar None Camp is seeking dependable, flexible, and hardworking individuals to join our 2026 Summer Camp Team as Volunteer General Camp Staff.
Spend your summer making a positive impact while helping create a safe, organized, and unforgettable experience for youth in a fun outdoor camp environment.
General Camp Staff play an important role in supporting overall camp operations, including setup, maintenance, groundskeeping, activity support, equipment movement, and assisting various departments throughout the summer season.
Employment Dates: July 20, 2026 – August 28, 2026
This volunteer period includes:
- Staff orientation and training
- Camp setup and preparation
- Three weeks of active camp programming
- Camp cleanup and shutdown
Camp Operating Dates: August 2, 2026 – August 21, 2026

Responsibilities
- Assist with camp setup and cleanup
- Support maintenance and groundskeeping tasks
- Move, organize, and maintain equipment and supplies
- Assist activity leaders and other camp departments as needed
- Help maintain safe, clean, and organized camp spaces
- Support camp activities and operations throughout the season
- Assist with camp shutdown and end-of-season cleanup
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude within the staff team

Qualifications
- Flexible and dependable
- Comfortable working outdoors in an active environment
- Physically capable of lifting equipment and performing general labour tasks
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- General maintenance, labour, or camp experience considered an asset
- No prior camp experience required for some applicants — training will be provided

Successful applicants may be required to provide:

- References
Applicants must:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Be comfortable with shared staff accommodations during the camp season
- Have reliable transportation to and from camp
- Be comfortable working in an active camp environment
- Be physically capable of outdoor and general labour tasks
- Maintain professionalism both in person and online
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Work well within a team environment
