Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver waste containers to designated locations.
- Ensure timely collection and disposal of waste materials in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Load and unload waste containers, often requiring some physical effort.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and route documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws during vehicle operation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules and service updates.
Skills
- Proven experience in driving heavy-duty trucks, preferably roll-off or similar commercial vehicles.
- Strong driving skills with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to vehicle operation and waste disposal.
- Ability to work independently in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour
