Host / Barista
Join the team at DOSC, where exceptional hospitality meets unforgettable dining.
DOSC is part steakhouse, part cocktail bar, and part café, bringing together premium ingredients, world-class beverages, and genuine hospitality in the heart of downtown Edmonton. From A5 Japanese Wagyu and locally raised Alberta beef to expertly crafted cocktails and specialty coffee, every detail is designed to create memorable experiences for our guests.
We're looking for a warm, organized, and energetic Host / Barista to become one of the first faces our guests encounter. This is a hospitality-focused position where your primary responsibility is creating exceptional first impressions and ensuring every guest feels genuinely welcomed. You'll also be the heart of our café program by preparing specialty coffee and espresso beverages.
The Opportunity
As a Host / Barista, you'll play an essential role in the flow of our restaurant. You'll greet guests with warmth and confidence, manage reservations and waitlists, coordinate seating, and support the service team to ensure every shift runs smoothly.
Beyond the host stand, you'll help maintain our dining room by setting and resetting tables, running food, assisting servers, and preparing coffee beverages from our Sober Cat café program. You'll be an important part of creating a seamless experience from the moment guests arrive until they leave.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, love interacting with people, and take pride in creating exceptional experiences, we'd love to meet you.
