Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our compassionate veterinary team. Duties
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing exceptional customer service
- Schedule appointments, manage client records, and handle phone inquiries efficiently
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures, including restraint and sample collection
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and treatment areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness
- Collect samples for laboratory testing and perform basic laboratory procedures when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, medications, and patient histories
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinarians under supervision
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and ensuring proper storage
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health measures
Experience
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is a bonus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is willing to learn!
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and patients
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners, with a professional demeanor
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated veterinary team, as well as independently in a self directed manner.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
