We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Packaging Operators to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for efficiently packaging products while ensuring quality standards are met. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various machinery and tools. The Packaging Operator plays a vital role in maintaining production flow and delivering high-quality finished goods to our clients.
Pay Rate: $19/hour - $20/hour
Shifts: Days 7am - 3pm , Afternoon 3pm - 11pm, Nights 11pm - 7am.( must be flexible to work all shifts)
Responsibilities
- Pack finished products efficiently and securely according to company specifications
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing
- Assist with assembly of products when required
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes
- Perform general labor tasks including loading and unloading materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for inventory management and proper storage of finished goods
- Document production activities accurately and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors
Skills
- Ability to use calipers, hand tools, and basic math skills for precise measurements and assembly tasks
- Knowledge of quality control procedures within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Experience with machining, assembly processes, and the use of various hand tools for packaging tasks
- Warehouse experience is a plus for inventory handling and logistics coordination
- Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Lifting up to 30lbs-50lbs
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- A valid driver’s license is a plus, but not mandatory.
