Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The Truck Driver will be responsible for delivering courier packages within the city limits while adhering to all safety regulations.
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver packages to various locations
- Load and deliver packages using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Valid class 5 driver's license
- Proven 2-3 years of work experience as a Package Delivery Driver on Commercial vehicle
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Excellent customer service skills
- Capable of heavy lifting up to 75 lbs
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
