Homestead Adventure Park & Curley’s Fries and Ice Cream is a family-friendly destination that brings together outdoor fun, great food, and unforgettable experiences. The park features an 18-hole mini-putt course, 16 high ropes challenges, a remote control boat pond, and a vibrant on-site food destination, Curley’s Fries and Ice Cream, serving up classic treats and quick-service favourites with both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the park.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Director of Operations is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and guest experience of both Homestead Adventure Park and Curley’s Fries and Ice Cream. This role is hands-on and highly visible, focused on creating an energetic, welcoming environment for families, kids, and the community.
We are looking for a driven, high-energy leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment and takes pride in creating memorable experiences for kids and guests of all ages.
This position requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Curley’s Fries and Ice Cream operates year-round, while Homestead Adventure Park operates seasonally, April through October.
What you’ll do to be successful in this role:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of daily operations for both Homestead Adventure Park and Curley’s Fries and Ice Cream
- Lead, train, and develop a high-energy, guest-focused team
- Create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for families and children
- Ensure exceptional guest service across all touchpoints
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and team development
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Monitor financial performance and take action to meet targets
- Manage inventory and operational needs throughout the season
- Respond to and resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively
