Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator/Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and reach trucks to load, unload, and move goods efficiently within the warehouse. This role involves managing shipping and receiving activities, order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with warehouse experience who can support seamless distribution operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload shipments
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP, and AS400 for inventory tracking and order processing
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging standards
- Assist with order fulfillment activities including order picking and packing for e-commerce orders
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse work area
- Support inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet distribution deadlines
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP, and AS400 platforms
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking, and packaging
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to inventory and order processing
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment procedures in a warehouse setting, especially e-commerce environments
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and documentation
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Physical ability to load & unload goods, lift heavy items safely, and stand for extended periods

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
