Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations of our hospitality or food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a comprehensive understanding of the food industry. This role requires a proactive approach to team management, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and service while maintaining a positive work environment. Prior experience in restaurant management, food handling, and hospitality is essential to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily restaurant or food service operations to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional customer experiences
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols to meet health standards
- Manage staff recruitment, interviewing, training, and performance evaluations
- Supervise team members including bartenders, servers, cooks, and other staff to foster teamwork and high productivity
- Handle cash handling procedures and POS transactions using Silverware POS or similar systems
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of supplies
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Implement policies for quality control, cleanliness, and safety across all departments
- Manage restaurant or hotel operations with a focus on profitability, efficiency, and guest experience
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in food service or restaurant management roles
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry standards
- Experience with OpenTable and Silverware, cash handling skills required
- Demonstrated leadership ability with team management skills in hospitality settings
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Prior restaurant or hotel management experience is highly preferred
- Ability to interview staff effectively and manage a diverse team
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, serving protocols, and overall restaurant experience is advantageous
- Leadership qualities combined with strong organizational skills to oversee multiple departments effectively

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
