Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires attention to detail, strong craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment. Experience in construction painting, carpentry, and handyman tasks is highly valued. The Drywall Installer will play a key role in ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to blueprints and project requirements
- Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall surfaces to achieve smooth, professional results
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques around seams and joints for a clean finish
- Assist with related tasks such as framing, carpentry, or minor repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols on-site
- Collaborate with other construction professionals including painters and carpenters to complete projects efficiently
Experience
- Prior experience in drywall installation or finishing is preferred
- Construction painting, carpentry, or handyman experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and finishing methods
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices
- Demonstrated ability to work with hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Reliable, detail-oriented, with good physical stamina for physically demanding tasks
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
