Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that the environment remains safe, clean, and well-maintained, supporting the overall functionality of the premises. Duties
- Perform regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Conduct routine commercial cleaning to ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations.
- Carry out facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, equipment upkeep, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Monitor the condition of the property, identifying areas needing repair or attention.
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events or meetings as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools, ordering replacements when necessary.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards to provide a secure environment for all occupants.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, especially commercial cleaning environments.
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
