What You’ll Do
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of facilities, ensuring buildings remain safe, clean, functional, and well maintained
Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, housekeeping, landscaping, and waste management
Conduct inspections and ensure building systems and services operate efficiently and reliably
Team Leadership & Coordination
Supervise, schedule, and support facilities staff while promoting safe work practices
Act as a key point of contact for staff, tenants, contractors, and management to resolve facility needs
Support training, performance expectations, and team development
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, accessibility, and regulatory requirements
Maintain safety documentation, coordinate emergency procedures, and support corrective actions
Promote a culture of safety across all facilities and stakeholders
Project, Budget & Contract Management
Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, tracking expenses and identifying variances
Lead facility-related capital projects including planning, budgeting, and execution
Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors, ensuring work meets quality, safety, and budget expectations
Leasing & Space Management
Manage lease administration including renewals, amendments, and compliance tracking
Monitor space utilization and support operational planning for facility needs
Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate records for facilities, projects, and compliance activities
Prepare reports, operational updates, and documentation for leadership
What You Bring
Post-secondary education in Business, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, property management, or related operations
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and Health & Safety requirements
Experience with budgeting, capital planning, and contractor/vendor management
Leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and multiple priorities
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management
