At Richmond Street Warehouse in London, ON, our General Managers are the driving force behind the success of our restaurants. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store while creating an environment where both staff and guests feel valued, supported, and part of the team.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- People & Leadership
- Hire, train, coach, and develop team members while building a strong succession plan for future leaders.
- Foster a positive team culture where staff feel appreciated, supported, and motivated.
- Lead performance management, including coaching, accountability, and employee development.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and standards are taught, understood, and consistently followed.
- Promote a “hiring for fit” mindset and maintain proactive recruitment efforts.
- Guest Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently delivered.
- Teach and coach staff to: Listen and anticipate guest needs
- Go above and beyond to create memorable experiences
- Recognize mistakes and take ownership in resolving them
- Build meaningful guest relationships through genuine engagement
- Operations & Business Management
- Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations for both FOH and BOH.
- Manage labour targets, scheduling, and staffing levels to support business needs.
- Monitor and manage labour costs, KPIs, inventory, cash handling, and cost controls.
- Complete new hire administration and oversee accounting-related processes.
- Prepare and review weekly sales forecasts with the Regional Manager during leadership meetings.
- Track and manage QSA, spill, and void reporting to ensure operational compliance.
