Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Student with HARP certification, Level I Dental Assistant and Level II Dental Assistant who is available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays with occasional Wednesdays to join our family dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with dental procedures, administration and helping ensure smooth daily operations of our family dental practice.
Experience with dental software, such as Dentrix, is considered an asset but most importantly open to learn any software. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient comfort and quality care are essential.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a friendly, family orientated dental clinic and collaborative environment dedicated to delivering outstanding dental care.

Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
- Take radiographs
- Manage patient records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and perform front desk duties as a dental receptionist when needed
- Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards and infection control protocols
- Support administrative tasks related to dental assisting and office management
Requirements
- Level II Dental Assistant
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
- Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Certification in Level II Dental Assisting is an asset (all levels welcome)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience working as a dental receptionist or in administrative roles within healthcare settings is advantageous.
