Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Casa Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Responsibilities
- Design and implement Montessori-based curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of children aged three to six years old
- Facilitate a prepared environment that promotes independence, exploration, and social-emotional development
- Observe and assess each child's progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special educational requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that adheres to safety standards and Montessori principles
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and classroom activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities, share best practices, and foster a positive learning community
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is required
- Knowledge of Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development principles is highly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational abilities are essential
- Proficiency in computer operation and classroom management software is desirable for record keeping and communication purposes
- Successful candidates will possess strong writing skills, effective time management, and the ability to foster a nurturing classroom environment
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
