About Pegasus Aeronautics:
Pegasus is a small business working on advancing the capabilities of industrial unmanned aircraft by designing and manufacturing efficient propulsion motors, power electronics and hybrid power systems. We are looking for a capable engineer to become a key part of our engineering Product team. You will be working with the team to design and develop industrial UAV powertrains and airborne platforms. We want a candidate that is curious and driven to learn and passionate about making the best products.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Work as part of an inter-disciplinary team to develop and design new products, from conceptual design to operational support
- Support Manufacturing Team with preliminary assembly instructions, bill of materials, and drawing packages.
- Receive and interpret feedback from stakeholders, both internal and external
- Troubleshooting manufacturing processes and improving workflows/documentation
- Manage projects as assigned and within project deadlines.
- Create 3D assemblies using 3D SolidWorks.
- Participating and assisting in product demonstrations, requiring some travel.
- Create and execute testing plans in office and field environments.
- Provide technical support for customers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent applicable work experience.
- Experience with Solidworks 3D CAD software
- Strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail
- Working knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication and ability to work as a team
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Ardupilot based Flight control software.
- CNC Experience
- Canadian RPAS License
- Experience with Arduino/Pi
- Knowledge of cost/benefit tradeoff and DFM principles

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
