We're looking for a confident, knowledgeable, and people-focused Optician who is passionate about creating exceptional patient experiences and helping patients find eyewear that enhances both their vision and their personal style. This role is primarily focused on the optical gallery and dispensing experience, along with contact lens care and dry eye education. Additional responsibilities include inventory management, pre-testing, and front desk support. We're looking for someone who can multitask with ease, stay organized, and move comfortably between different areas of the clinic while maintaining a warm, welcoming presence.
What You'll Do
- Deliver a personalized eyewear experience by helping patients select frames and lenses that suit their vision needs, lifestyle, personality, and style
- Dispense eyewear with accuracy, confidence, and exceptional attention to detail
- Recommend lens technologies, coatings, and optical products tailored to each patient's unique needs
- Support contact lens patients with fittings, training, troubleshooting, and ongoing care guidance
- Educate patients about dry eye disease, treatment options, and related products
- Manage optical inventory, frame ordering, merchandising, and gallery presentation
- Assist with pre-testing and front desk duties as needed
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and ensure they feel cared for, confident, and excited about their eyewear
- Collaborate closely with our doctors and team to provide a seamless, high-quality patient experience
What We're Looking For
- Licensed Optician preferred (or equivalent optical experience)
- Confident in optical dispensing and product recommendations
- Passion for helping patients see, look, and feel their best
- Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely patient-focused
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Adaptable and willing to support different areas of the practice when needed
- A strong appreciation for both eye health and eyewear fashion
