Part-Time Retail Cleaner – Morning Shifts
Royal Dusters Cleaning is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner for a retail location. This position is best suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys a consistent routine and can work independently without constant supervision.
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
- Shifts begin at 8:00 a.m. SHARP
- Shifts end at approximately 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.
- Approximately 16–20 hours per week
- No evenings or weekends
Responsibilities
- Complete routine cleaning throughout the retail store
- Clean and sanitize the staff washroom
- Sweep, vacuum and mop floors
- Dust and wipe surfaces
- Empty garbage and replace liners
- Maintain clean and presentable staff and public-facing areas
- Follow a consistent cleaning checklist and complete all assigned tasks
- Remain onsite for the entire scheduled shift
- Sign in and sign out at correct times
- Maintain a friendly and positive demeanour as it is public facing

- Is comfortable completing repetitive cleaning tasks
- Is dependable, punctual and consistently arrives ready to work
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
- Is friendly, polite and professional with customers and store employees
- Is physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting and performing repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Can follow instructions and maintain consistent cleaning standards
- Impeccable time management
- Strong English communication skills
This is a physically active position. Due to the length and nature of the shift, there are no scheduled breaks, and the cleaner must remain onsite at the retail store for the full shift.
Previous cleaning experience is an asset, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
Location: SouthGate Mall
Wage: $17 per hour
