Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fulltime Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting, with a strong understanding of various painting & prep techniques. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a range of hand tools and power tools, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality. The position requires excellent time management and communication skills to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to client specifications.
- Previous experience is an asset but we will train for the right candidates.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming as needed
- Apply paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment on residential, commercial, or industrial projects
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and client specifications through quality control inspections
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate project timelines and address any concerns
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting, restoration, or related fields such as residential or industrial painting is an asset
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and rigging equipment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and painting environments
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude toward client satisfaction
